Gold & Diamond Buying

If you own pieces of jewelry you don’t wear anymore, or you’ve inherited jewelry that just isn’t your style, it’s important to have an idea of what it’s worth. At Wimmer’s, we know how important many of these pieces are, so it’s imperative to find someone ethical and reliable. That’s Wimmer Diamonds. Wimmers can help you turn your jewelry into instant cash, create a new custom-designed piece from a piece you may treasure, or assist you in trading it for something new!

Three great options. One great jeweler.

If you see something you love in our showcases or are interested in creating something custom and one-of-a-kind, we will pay you 20% more for your fine jewelry in lieu of cash or check.

We are also buying larger diamonds (1 carat or more). And when you sell to Wimmer’s, we will provide you with the highest level of personal attention and a no-commitment evaluation before we purchase it outright.

Selling?

Here's what you need to know.

If you’re interested in selling, you will first meet with one of our experts and we will evaluate your jewelry carefully. Most gold jewelry is 10K, 14K, or 18K gold. The purest and highest quality gold is 24K. As the karat number drops, so does the value. If you own a signed piece, it may be worth more if sold to us intact versus considering melting it down.

The prices of fine metals fluctuate daily. Diamonds, on the other hand, tend to be more subjective. There is no daily price for diamonds. This is why it’s important to sell your diamond to someone you trust to provide you with a fair value. With a diamond, we will certainly want to do our due diligence and an appraisal.
